Reconface is a leading, an exclusive Maxillofacial team in Hyderabad, Telangana State and it offers training Fellowship for freshly passed out Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in a wide spectrum of Maxillofacial procedures. These include:
1. Facial Trauma
2. Facial Soft Tissue injuries
3. Minor Oral Surgery
4. Orthognathic Surgery
5. Benign cysts and tumors of Head & Neck Region
6. Oral Oncology
7. Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery of Head & Neck
8. Facial Deformity Corrections
Reconface is a maxillofacial team which practices and imparts training in a wide spectrum of Maxillofacial procedures with special emphasis on oral oncology, microvascular reconstructive surgery & orthognathic Surgery.
Selection Criteria:
Reconface is a maxillofacial team which practices and imparts training in a wide spectrum of Maxillofacial procedures with special emphasis on oral oncology, microvascular reconstructive surgery & orthognathic Surgery.
Stage 1:
The interested candidates should send their resume to the given mail ID before 5PM of 31. 10. 2023.
The resume must mention clearly the contact details of at least one referral from your PG guide or any senior Maxillofacial surgeon you have been associated or worked with.
The eligible candidates will be called for an one on one interview during the second week of November. In the interview the candidate will be tested for general aptitude and knowledge in basic Maxillofacial surgery.
Two candidates with best performance in the interview will be selected and intimated personally by last week of November for joining as honorary observers starting from 01.12.2023 to 31.12.2023.
Stage 2:
During the period of one month observation, both the candidates will be continuously evaluated for their basic surgical skills, general aptitude, knowledge on basic concepts of Maxillofacial surgery and overall patient care.
In the last week of December both the observers will have to take MCQ pattern examination in Maxillofacial and Reconstructive surgery of 50 marks.
Based on the marks scored in the MCQ examination and the continuous evaluation by the fellowship directors during the one month period of observation, the final selection of one candidate will be done for the fellowship program which starts on 01.01.2024.
During the fellowship training program the candidate will be entitled to the payment of monthly stipend (the amount of stipend to be paid will be intimated during observorship)
Special Interests
The trainee is eligible for 12 days of leave in the entire training period and can be availed with the prior permission of the course director.

Learning experience with Reconface team:
Reconface has a very versatile team of well experienced surgeons holding respectable positions in
various educational institutes. Every surgery handled by the team is very well planned and organised
distributing the surgical work equally to all the surgeons in the team to bring the best of the results.
The fellows get adequate hands on in almost every surgery under careful and proper guidance from
the mentors.
Over all view/ experience:
During my 2022 Reconface fellowship, I gained extensive hands-on experience in a diverse array of
maxillofacial surgery areas. This included handling complex cases in facial trauma, head and neck
cancer surgeries, and proficiently performing facial reconstruction with both local and free flaps. I
also honed my skills in patient-specific implants, total joint reconstruction, orthognathic surgeries,
cleft surgeries, and rhinoplasties. Additionally, my exposure to corporate hospital environments
enriched my understanding, as I actively collaborated with ICU teams, ER teams, and
anaesthesiologists across multiple hospitals. Currently I am part of Reconface team and working as a
full time consultant hair transplant surgeon.

fellow. I’ve got the opportunity to witness various procedures from minor oral surgeries to complex
maxillofacial reconstructions including Oral cancer. As it involves multi-disciplinary approach with
other specialities such as Orthopedics, Neurosurgeons and more, it helped me learn about these
colloborative efforts and work as a team.
Over all view/ experience:
I am pleased to note that my fellowship in Maxillofacial and Facial Reconstruction has introduced me
to a variety of cases that surpass the scope of my previous postgraduate experience. My areas of
interest includes Soft tissue reconstruction, Orthognathic surgery, Trauma cases. This exposure has
been instrumental in expanding my knowledge and expertise in the field.
